K-Lifestyle ("we", "us", "our") operates the website klifestyles.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

We aim to collect only what is necessary to run, improve, and protect the Service, and to present that collection clearly rather than bury it in legal language.

Information we collect

We collect four kinds of information.

Information you send us. If you contact us at an email address listed on the Service, we receive the content of your message and the email address you sent it from.

Google sign-in. To leave a comment you sign in with your Google account. When you do, we receive from Google and store your display name, email address, profile photo URL, a Google-issued account identifier, and the sign-in credentials (tokens) Google issues to link the account. We use this information only to show who wrote a comment and to confirm that it is you. It is never used for advertising targeting. You can read everything on the Service without signing in; only commenting requires it. Google is currently the only sign-in method.

Comments. When a signed-in visitor posts a comment, we store the comment text, the author's account, the time, and the post or guide it belongs to. Your display name and profile photo are shown to other visitors next to your comment. You can delete your own comments at any time. To delete your account, contact us as described under "Your rights" below.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Service, the systems of our hosting and analytics providers process standard information about the request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, the referring URL, and the time. This information is used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and understand overall usage. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Service stores or reads the following in your browser.

• Language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers the language you chose.
• Sign-in cookies: set only when you sign in with Google. They keep you signed in and protect the sign-in process against forged requests.
• Analytics cookies (cookies beginning with _ga): used by Google Analytics to count visits and understand how the site is used.
• Advertising cookies: used by Google AdSense and its partners to serve and measure advertising.
• Browser storage (localStorage): to mark which highlights on the home page you have already opened, the list of opened items is kept in your browser only. It is not sent to our servers.
• Likes: when you like a post, a mark that this browser has liked it is kept in your browser only (localStorage). Our servers store only the total for each post, not who pressed it.

The Service is set up so that visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message provided by Google, and storage for analytics and advertising stays off until a choice is made. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. If you refuse cookies, some features such as language memory and sign-in may not work.

Advertising: Google AdSense

The Service displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Analytics

The Service uses two analytics tools.

Google Analytics 4. Counts which pages are read and how much. It uses cookies and processes usage data such as page paths, time on page, and approximate location derived from IP address. IP addresses are sent with the anonymisation option turned on.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. Counts visits and measures how fast pages load. It does not use cookies.

We look at data from both tools in aggregate and do not use it to identify individual visitors.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate and maintain the Service, to communicate with you when you contact us, to detect and prevent abuse and fraud, to measure and improve the performance of the Service, and to comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

To run the Service we use the following companies, which process data on our behalf to the extent needed.

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and delivery, the database that stores accounts and comments, image storage and resizing, visit analytics, and forwarding of emails sent to our addresses
• Google LLC: account sign-in (Google sign-in), visit analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (Google AdSense)

Some posts may include YouTube videos. When you play one, YouTube (Google) applies its own terms and privacy policy. Each provider processes data under its own published privacy terms and its contractual obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the channel listed on the Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time frame and in accordance with applicable law.

International transfers

The Service is operated from, and its data may be processed in, jurisdictions including the Republic of Korea and the countries where our infrastructure providers operate. If you access the Service from outside those jurisdictions, you understand that information about your visit may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions.

Data retention

Account information and comments are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Sign-in session information stops being used when you sign out or when it expires. Request logs and analytics data are kept for the period needed to operate the Service and meet legal requirements, according to the retention settings of each analytics tool, and are then aggregated or deleted. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond to and document the conversation.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage visitors to avoid sending sensitive information through unencrypted channels.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
